Productivity as important key factor
The productivity - normally a matter of course, which is often neglected in turnarounds. Interestingly enough, often figures and data are analysed and conclusions and measures are developed from these. Frequently the conclusion is drawn that the personnel costs are too high and the fixed costs have to be reduced. Corresponding measures are initiated then.
However, one exciting question is rarely asked: are less employees in the position to organize the same business or which prerequisites have to be created that this is possible in the future? How have the working conditions and the prevailing conditions to be arranged that the productivity can be increased? If this is not considered sufficiently, there is the danger of an uncontrolled saving concept, which includes essential risk potentials.
Statements like: "The company has saved itself to death", cannot be heard very rarely. In addition to the measures for the cost reduction at the same time the working conditions of the employees are to be considered. How is the productivity and how can this be increased, constitutes a central question in this.
